Home Department legalization means getting a stamp from the Home Department of respective state government where the documents have been issued & it is the legalization procedure to be followed to prove your documents are genuine. Birth Certificate and Marriage certificate attestation and all other personal document verification are carried out under the purview of the Home Department.There is also another alternate process through called as SDM Attestation.
